Lizzy Rose is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer whose music blends dream-folk intimacy with cinematic, psychedelic textures. A Colorado native, she first emerged in Denver’s indie scene fronting the psych-pop band Vitamins before touring nationally with The Flaming Lips and Portland’s Mimicking Birds.
With The Flaming Lips, she joined their live reinterpretation of The Dark Side of the Moon, performing the soaring vocal centerpiece “Great Gig in the Sky” on national tours that included stops at venues such as Red Rocks. Later, as a member of Mimicking Birds—a band signed to Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock’s label—she toured nationally as the opening act for Modest Mouse and performed at The Gorge Amphitheater.
After Vitamins disbanded thirteen years ago, Rose began her solo career — crafting songs that trace the quiet spaces between loss and renewal. Her forthcoming album Faultlines (out October 24, 2025) unearths songs written six years ago but never released, revealing a haunting, reflective body of work that bridges fragility and strength.
Now based in Portland, Rose continues to write and record, creating music that feels timeless, cinematic, and deeply human.
